HIJI FOREST WALK and BEPPU SPICE WALK (10 ml each in a bamboo atomizer spray bottle)

HIJI FOREST WALK The small Japanese town of Hiji is actually where I have been living for the past year and distilling essential oils from local organic and wildcrafted ingredients. This scent is like a stroll through Hiji in the summertime with its incredible variety of flowers, citrus trees, and lush cedar and cypress surroundings. Top notes of yuzu citrus and orange blossom and a breezy woodsy heart and base of Japanese mountainside forest; sugi, hinoki, laurel, lichen and moss, and just a hint of good sandalwood.

BEPPU SPICE WALK Beppu is the nearest city and popular tourist town. Although it is small, Beppu is bustling with creativity, youthful vigour, and remarkable ethnic diversity as a result of an international university and its reputation as a party and hot spring mecca. The perfume inspired by Beppu is foundationally a smooth light and breezy blend of very Japanese scents but with a few spicy surprises. Most notably the aroma of cardamom and a Japanese citrus medley pops at the top, and then through the day will open up into a Japanese summer breeze of forest and field.
